Welcome
Our Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3 and GCSE classes will commence from Saturday 30th August and A-Level classes will begin the following week on September 6th.
After recieving feedback from parents, we have decided to print a hard copy of the newsletter and post it out to parents to ensure you receive them. This will begin from November, but you will still continue to receive an email version of the newsletter too.
Registration for 2014/15
Please inform us of the classes you would like your child to attend this year by replying to this email or calling us on 0116 273 7515 so we have an idea on numbers. Remember places will be offered on a first come first served basis for our current students. We will be taking registrations for new students from August 21st, so please confirm your child’s place before then to avoid disappointment.

Tuition Fees
All of our Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, and GCSE classes are 60 minutes in length. The fees for the 60 minute lessons are:
- £13 each if your child studies one subject per week
- £12 each if your child studies two subjects per week (£24 total)
- £10.50 each if your child studies three subjects per week (£31.50 total)
Our AS-Level and A2-Level classes are all 90 minutes in length and they are £19 per lesson.
Guaranteed Grade A - GCSE Maths
This year we are introducing our Guaranteed Grade A Scheme. As the name suggests, we will guarantee that your child gets a Grade A in Maths. Of course there are a few conditions for this:
- Your child must be in Year 10
- Your child must be studying the Higher GCSE Maths
- Attends all the lessons
- Completes all homework to a satisfactory standard
- Contact us for further information
Your child will receive two hours of tuition each week (one hour in class and one hour online) as well as 30 minutes of one-to-one tuition each month where you can ask your tutor to cover anything you want them to. Your child will need to attend all lessons and complete homework regularly. If you would like more information on this then please contact us.
Recommend a Friend to win an iPad
During this time of year, many of your friends and family may be looking for some tuition for their children. We would appreciate it if you could pass on our details to your friends.
If you recommend your friend to join they will get their first lesson free and your child will also get a free lesson. If your friend then continues to attend lessons, you will receive a £20 reward after four lessons. (This will decrease to £15 from November 1st).
At the end of the year, the person who recommends the most people throughout the year will win an Apple Mini iPad. See more information
Online Classes
Last year we started our online Maths classes which have been quite popular. We will be increasing the number of online classes we offer this year. Students who already attend the tuition classes will be able to attend the online classes at a discounted rate.
Our online classes will begin in mid-September and we will offer the following classes:
- GCSE Mathematics
- GCSE Further Maths
- GCSE Additional Maths
- A-Level Core Maths 1-4
- A-Level Mechanics 1
- A-Level Statistics 1

Registration Forms
Your child will receive a registration form in their first few weeks of tuition. Please complete these for the following week and return with your child.
Results
Our A-Level students would have picked up their results recently and most of them have so far informed us of their results. We are still waiting for the last few students to get back to us and the results will come in the next month’s newsletters.
