Premier League and its clubs pledge to meet Accessible Stadia standards by 2017
On Monday 14th September the Premier League announced that its member clubs will be compliant with Accessible Stadia minimum standards by 2017.
On a momentous day for LPF and all disabled football fans, LPF Chair Joyce Cook OBE said, “Today is a very good day for disabled football fans and for the Premier League. It is a day to remember with some pride and with many thanks to everyone involved in making this happen.”
The announcement came after the government published their ‘Inclusive and Accessible Stadia Report’ highlighting the frustrations of disabled sports fans across the UK.

Level Playing Field Vice-President, Lord Faulkner of Worcester was on hand to officially open the first of 3 planned wheelchair user viewing platforms at Wrexham FC.
Praising the efforts of all involved in delivering the platform, Lord Faulkner said, “Wrexham FC has shown just what is possible when a club and its supporters come together with a shared determination to make meaningful progress."

New LPF Membership scheme for 2015/2016 season
Level Playing Field is delighted to announce the launch of the new membership scheme for the 2015 / 2016 season.
We invite membership from individuals, Clubs & venues, DSA’s & fan groups, National Governing Bodies and other partner organisations. All of whom will receive a bespoke membership pack as part of their membership. The membership year runs from 1st of September to the 31st of August, and all members will still be able to get expert advice and guidance from LPF on access and inclusion issues.
