Premier League and its clubs pledge to meet Accessible Stadia standards by 2017

On Monday 14th September the Premier League announced that its member clubs will be compliant with Accessible Stadia minimum standards by 2017.

On a momentous day for LPF and all disabled football fans, LPF Chair Joyce Cook OBE said, “Today is a very good day for disabled football fans and for the Premier League. It is a day to remember with some pride and with many thanks to everyone involved in making this happen.”

The announcement came after the government published their ‘Inclusive and Accessible Stadia Report’ highlighting the frustrations of disabled sports fans across the UK.
