Level Playing Field Membership Renewal 2012 to 2013 starts on 1st September.The last 12 months have been a busy period for Level Playing Field and have seen the start of two new projects – Working Together: Clubs and Disabled Fans and Match Buddies. Level Playing Field’s membership continues to grow and each year new members join up. We are always looking for new members as well, membership extends to individuals, disabled supporter associations and clubs alike. If you have not joined us in the past but would like to support what we do and join us we would be delighted to hear from you. By joining you sign up to LPF’s guiding principles which can be found here. LPF represents disabled sports fans and works with partners to improve sports stadia, venues and events. Why be a member? Our membership includes;Football;Rugby;Cricket and other Sports Clubs, disabled supporters associations, disabled supporters, disability and football non governmental organisations, stakeholders and non disabled supporters. By joining Level Playing Field you will become part of a vibrant organisation that is constantly campaigning for equality of supporter experience for all sports fans. As an Associate Member which is free to join or a Full Member you will receive a copy of our e-newsletter with stories of achievements, good practice ideas, the latest fans comments and stadia information, project updates, funding opportunities and relevant policy updates. You will also receive the latest event news which may include Fans Forums running in your area. Full Members also have voting rights at our AGM. The last AGM took place in the House of Lords and was a great success. Membership also allows us to continue to provide independent professional advice on improving access and guidance on user led issues that affect all disabled sports fans. You can contact us anytime with any issue that affects you as a disabled supporter. We also provide advice to clubs and disabled supporters associations. Last year we provided high levels of support, advice and guidance around equality for disabled spectators. There are two tiers of membership: Full member (with voting rights) and associate members (non-voting).
