Access Card

Access Card provides information in a clear way and helps support with the community, its verified and explains the background to how it was developed. The Access Card translates a disability/impairment into symbols which highlight the barriers faced and the reasonable adjustments that may be needed.

This then informs providers quickly and discreetly about the support needed and may help gain access to things like concessionary ticket prices and complex reasonable adjustments without having to go into personal detail.

Its all based on rights under the Equality Act and providers responsibilities. To read more about the Access Card, please click the link: Access Card
