Specialist Education Placement Review (High Needs Funding), New Beam Drop In Opening Times & More...

Specialist Education Placement Review (High Needs Funding) - Thursday 19th July at 9.30am

Nationally there is a recognition that the population of children with SEND is growing. In March 2017 DfE committed funding for local authorities and Telford & Wrekin received £616k (2018-21).

We now need to discuss how longer term strategy will be delivered to ensure sufficient provision in the future for our children and young people if school age (early years and post 16 will be covered later).

A series of 4 proposals have been identified and we invite families to join us in a discussion about these please. Venue to be confirmed in due course based on numbers wishing to attend.
