Horley Conservation Group Update

Message below is from the GGP People and Wildlife Officer:

"Many thanks to all those that joined me at Riverside Garden Park on 17 February.  Thanks also to all the volunteers from the Horley Piscatorial Society for joining us on a glorious sunny Saturday.  Between us we re-coppiced some of the small trees around the lake, cleared a small path along one side of the lake, removed some of the submerged logs from previous tree clearance work, cut back near the picnic area and collected 3 black bags full of litter and assorted items.  I think this first joint task worked fairly well and between the two groups we got a lot done, so this is something that I think we can do more of in future, especially where we have a common interest."

Local Government Boundary Commission for England: Reigate and Banstead Electoral Review

The independent Local Government Boundary Commission for England is asking for your views on its electoral review of Reigate and Banstead Borough Council.  The review will agree new council ward boundaries across Reigate and Banstead. Do you have suggestions about where your ward boundaries should be?  Where do people in your area go to access local facilities, such as shops and leisure activities?  Which areas do you identify as your local community?  The consultation closes on 9 April 2018.

Your opinion matters:
