LPF Response to Premier League Pledge (Accessible Stadia Guidelines Report) Level Playing Field has welcomed the Premier League Accessible Stadia Guidelines Report.

In September 2015, the clubs pledged to meet the Accessible Stadia guidelines by their self-imposed deadline of August 2017 and earlier this year it was clear that a number of clubs would not achieve this. Our General Manager talks to Infosound

Ruth Hopkins, General Manager at Level Playing Field was recently interviewed by Infosound, an independent registered charity that produces and distributes free and relevant information, in audio, that may be of interest to blind and partially sighted people across Great Britain.

Ruth says "I was delighted to be invited to talk about Level Playing Field and the work we do. We are the voice for disabled spectators in England and Wales, and of course, this includes blind and partially sighted spectators.

There are many factors that stadia can consider to make their facilities and services more accessible for blind and partially sighted spectators. These include, but are not limited to: accessible websites, good signage and wayfinding, choice of seating, provision for Guide Dogs, information in alternative formats and full Audio Descriptive Commentary by trained commentators of the match day action".
