Sharing from Telford & Wrekin Council...

"Telford and Wrekin Council’s Short Breaks Statement is designed to show how we meet the social care needs of Children and Young People, up to the age of 18, with disabilities in Telford and Wrekin. It shows the levels of support available, who it is available to and how to access it. The statement was initially published in Spring 2023, and we are now carrying out annual reviews to ensure it is fit for purpose and remains up to date. By completing this survey, you are helping us to produce our new statement. Your thoughts and views are invaluable.

It is important to have access to and have read the Short Breaks Statement when completing this survey."

Entrust Care Partnership - Affordable Holidays for Families Impacted by Disability/Additional Needs

Sharing from Entrust Care Partnership...

"We are a 'Not for Profit' organisation that supports children, young people and adults with additional needs as well as their parents and carers.

We are based in Warwickshire and have close links with both the Warwickshire and Coventry Parent Carer forums that are local to us. We have two caravans in both Skegness and Burnham on Sea. We aim to offer affordable holidays to families impacted by disability.

For comparison a week in the summer with us is £700, including entertainment passes for each guest. For a comparable caravan booking with either site directed would be in excess of £1000, for many weeks it can be much more.

Our Burnham on Sea caravans are on a Haven Resort, this is the link: https://www.haven.com/parks/somerset/burnham-on-sea/

Our Skegness Caravans are on a Park Den Resort, this is the link: https://www.parkdeanresorts.co.uk/location/east-anglia-lincolnshire/southview/

All our caravans have the same layout and sleep up to 6. There is a double bedroom with an en-suite, a twin room with 2 single beds and a sofa bed in the lounge. All caravans have a walk in/wheel in shower. They all have outdoor decking and outdoor furniture.

Bookings can be made by completing our booking form using this link: https://forms.gle/kKJyWqyBUqwjWTT76.
