Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Children and Young People’s Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Service Update Sharing from NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin... EXTRACT "The BeeU service, delivered by Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT), has been extended until the end of September 2025. This extension provides the necessary time to develop and commission a new and improved Children and Young People’s Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Service (previously known as the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)), building on ongoing transformation efforts. This includes reducing waiting times, expanding capacity, enhancing preventative support in schools and communities, and ensuring services remain responsive to the needs of children, young people, and their families. Upcoming Period of Engagement We are now entering a critical six-week period of engagement, starting 27 January 2025 and ending on 7 March 2025, to gather feedback that will shape the future of emotional wellbeing and mental health services. This engagement builds on previous feedback and is essential to ensuring that the voices of children, young people, parents, carers, and professionals guide the planning and delivery of these vital services." The Movement Centre Sharing from The Movement Centre... "Who we are and what we do: The Movement Centre is a UK registered charity providing a specialist therapy called Targeted Training to help children with movement disabilities gain movement control. Support is given directly beneath where control is an issue. As each child makes progress the level of support is lowered so that they can continue to develop movement control. This mimics the way in which movement control is naturally developed in a young infant, from the head downwards. Children we support may have conditions such as:
