Then why not pre order your lunch to guarantee your food choices, and reduce waiting time. Up to 6 lunches can be ordered on the standard form, there is a separate form for those with dietary requirements, please complete a separate form for each dietary lunch. All lunches will need to be paid for on collection in either cash or card. Please select a 30 minute collection time slot, please note that orders will be held for a maximum of 10 minutes after the timeslot has ended. PODS is Delighted to Announce the Upcoming Launch of our New Service, Nurture & Grow We have listened to our community and repeatedly heard how families struggle to find appropriate, affordable, and reliable support services, as demand far outweighs supply. With this in mind, PODS is delighted to announce the upcoming launch of our new service, Nurture & Grow. This initiative will be care for the community, provided by the community. Nurture & Grow will have a two-pronged approach. First and foremost, we aim to deliver high-quality, reliable care through a team of nurturing, person-centred, and experienced professionals. Secondly, any funds generated from this service will be reinvested to sustain PODS Charity and our broader activities and events, ensuring our long-term sustainability. This initiative means that by supporting you, we also support ourselves, allowing us to continue delivering our vital services and staying true to our charitable mission well into the future. Job Opportunities with Nurture & Grow Role: Personal Support Assistant. Salary: £12- £12.50 per hour depending on experience. Working hours: 0-hour contract, (Anticipated minimum of 12 hours) Evening and weekend hours only. Online Transport Workshop (Pre and Post 16) 7th or 14th August 2024 We are hosting a workshop with T&W SEND and Travel Assistance Team to discuss SEND Travel assistance in Telford. The workshops will include the following: Understanding the policy / Appeals process / Modes of travel assistance / Risk assessments / Q&A session. The workshops will give you an opportunity to ask questions. Please note if questions are of a personal nature the team will not be able to answer these online, however we will work with you to raise any issues you may have following the workshop. Royal Shrewsbury Hospital Outpatients Entrance to Close on Monday 29 July Sharing from The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH)... "The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH) will close its Outpatient entrance at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital (RSH) on Monday 29 July as part of construction works for the new hospital building. The closure will enable works to begin on the build of a new four storey hospital expansion. To maintain hospital operations, the entrance to the Treatment Centre will become the main entrance to the hospital during the works. All other entrances will be unaffected. A new entrance will be made available for the public to enter the hospital opposite the main staff car park leading to RSH Level 0 (basement services). Signage will be installed at RSH to help patients and visitors navigate their way around the site and colleagues will be on hand to direct and answer patient and visitor queries. Patients and visitors should continue to check the Trust’s website (http://www.sath.nhs.uk/patients-visitors/getting-to-us/royal-shrewsbury-hospital/) for the most up-to-date information on accessing the hospital and for parking arrangements." Telford & Wrekin Libraries run free weekly Bounce & Rhyme sessions for families with children aged under 5. In these sessions we sing nursery and counting rhymes and they last for 30 minutes. They are drop-in session so no booking necessary. Sessions run at the following libraries:
