"A little bit about the summit: As a local system (Education, Health and Social Care) we want to collect the voice of our parents and carers in Telford & Wrekin that is purposeful and will impact service delivery. This summit is an opportunity for you to understand the current SEND and AP Action plan and where the parent voice is and what parent representation sits on the different meetings and boards.

Proposed Outline of the Summit: Who is Who in the room Actions from the last Summit regarding communication Overview of the SEND and AP action Plan – who sits in what meetings and boards National update – SEND and AP Change Programme Up to 5 spaces are available for each parent Group/forum

PODS Forum and Befriending Scheme Social Support Group

Join us for a catch up where you can find out more about the Forum and Befriending Scheme and access non-judgemental befriending peer support with fellow parent carers.

PODS Social Support Group at Blists Hill

Wednesday 24th April 2024 from 10am-12pm at Blists Hill Victorian Town, Telford, TF7 5UD

Come and join us at PODS Family Group in Blists Hill Victorian Town for a chat, relax and meet with friendly faces. Ask us for some advice or just enjoy a walk around the village.

Tickets are available at a subsidised cost of £3.00 per person. PODS will provide 1 tea/coffee/soft drink to each person booked, however you will have to purchase your own other refreshments if required.

Places are limited and booking is essential, open to all PODS members living in Telford and Wrekin. Please note that the tickets are non-refundable. Children, of any age, are welcome however if they are under 2 years old, no ticket is required. We will be meeting at the entrance at 10am, please let us know if you will be late or can no longer make it so as the group can enter on time.

PODS Stop Motion Video Club

Monday 29th April 2024 at PODS Hub, 1 Hawksworth Road, Central Park, Telford, TF2 9TU

PODS Stop Motion Video Club resumes from Jan 2024. The children/young people will be provided with Lego and Ipads to help make the stop motion videos. Cost is £3 per child/young person.

The programmes are designed by specialists in developing online programmes to help support your wellbeing and mental health.

They have programmes for: Mindfulness, Resilience, Sleep, Money worries, Drugs & Alcohol.

Telford Mind is launching a Perinatal Social Prescribing Service

If you are pregnant or you have a child under two you can access support and guidance.

Social Prescribers can help with a wide range of concerns such as: finances, childcare, confidence, isolation.
