Shared from Contact...

"Disabled people in the UK continue to face discrimination and it's getting worse with the cost-of-living crisis, according to a new European Human Rights Commission (EHRC). The EHRC report to the United Nation came as ministers launched a consultation on their 2023-24 cross-government Disability Action Plan to improve the lives of disabled people.

The plan government covers everything from leisure and transport to carer employment rights. Do their plans go far enough? Share your views with me. We are especially keen to hear from families whose disabled child uses assistive technology."

Your views really matter, and we would appreciate your time to complete this a short survey: www.telford.gov.uk/healthyweightsurvey

Who is it for: Members of the public and residents who live in Telford & Wrekin Professionals who work with residents or are representing an organisation providing health, care, wellbeing services

How long will it take? It should take around 10 minutes to complete.

What will happen with my answers? The information you provide will help inform Telford and Wrekin Council and it's partners in developing a Healthy Weight Strategy.
