PODS Pamper Day

Monday 11th September at PODS Hub, 1 Hawksworth Road, Central Park, Telford, TF2 9TU

In order to recognise and support our parents/carers, PODS is holding a Pamper Session for the families. The session is being held in slots from 9.30am till 2pm to enable maximum members to be able to join us.

Please book your slot and arrive just 5 mins before your booked time slot to avoid waiting.

The treatments available on the day are: Nail Painting, Gel Nails, Face Massage, Henna Tattoo and Reiki.  All treatments will cost just £5 each and payment should be made in cash only. Along with this, tea, coffee and cake and biscuits will also be available for everyone attending.

PODS Lego Club

Monday 11th September 2023 - Monday 23rd October 2023 from 4pm-5pm at PODS Hub, 1 Hawksworth Road, Central Park, Telford, TF2 9TU

PODS Lego Club is running sessions for children from 5-14 years old during Term Time. The children will be building as well as be able to improve their  to social and communication skills. 

Session costs are non-refundable, parent/carer/PA must remain on site for the duration of the session. Please ensure every child/young person attending has a ticket.

Support Information for Neurodivergent Children aged 0-5 Years

Sharing from NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin...

"When children have needs related to neurodiversity they may require support from a range of services. The information below sets out the range of support available in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin. Your child doesn’t need a diagnosis to access most of these services, however the focus in this age group is autism or possible autism as other neurodevelopment conditions are less likely to be assessed in the under-fives."

PODS Arthog Outreach and SkyReach Sessions 

Join PODS this September for sessions at Arthog Outreach (Wellington) and SkyReach (Town Park)! Sessions are every Monday at 4:45-6:15 and open for primary aged children and 12-25 years, alternating between the two venues and age groups.

Activities at SkyReach may consist of high ropes, quick jump, orienteering and crate stack. Activities at Arthog Outreach may consist of indoor Climbing, archery, orienteering, woodland/ stream adventure, bushcraft, crate Stack and abseil slope. Parent/carer attendance is required (as either participant or spectator). Bookings are essential via Ticketsource. Please email jeannie@podstelford.org for more information.

Urology Awareness Month - September 2023

The Urology Foundation share that Urology Awareness Month is an annual campaign to raise awareness of urological diseases including prostate, bladder, kidney and male reproductive cancers and non-malignant conditions including incontinence, urinary tract infections (UTIs), erectile dysfunction and kidney stones.
