Update from Jayne, Strategic Co-ordinator

Hello and Good Morning.

Hope everyone has had a good Easter Break and have enjoyed activities and trips.

We've had a a great meeting this last couple weeks with Inclusive Leisure Team, we've talked about the gym at Stirchley, the Ice Rink, the splash-area in Town Park, Bike Hub, swimming at Newport and all sorts of plans for better community - and then a further conversation regarding adaptive bikes in Town Park....all these conversations are going on based on what families are saying and feeding back in to us, so thank you for your continued involvement.

We're now having regular meeting with BeeU Service Managers, and as part of these we have a series of letters that we are reviewing, to ensure that information that is provided is up to date and provides the right links for signposting.
Thank you to families who attended our EHCP session, even though this was run in the holidays, we had a great take up! We have plenty of feedback from this to take forward to the the EHCP Quality Assurance discussions.

Yesterday, we had a visit to Telford Steam Railway and thanks to our reps and staff who also attended. We're going to be writing up a report about feedback and recommendations, and as part of the review we're going to be having a look at their website. We'll let you know an update but in the meaning if you want to provide us any feedback, please let us know.

Best Regards
Jayne Stevens

The most important thing is to pick an activity that you enjoy, such as walking, stair climbing, jogging, dancing, bicycling, yoga, tai chi, gardening, weightlifting or swimming.

Find an exercise session near you at Live Well Telford and T&W Leisure Services.
