PODS Sleep Workshops & Lots More...
PODS Sleep Workshops
From the 23rd January we will be running our 3 week sleep workshop, places are very limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. It is vital that participants attend all 3 sessions in order to complete the course, priority of places will be given to people who can attend all sessions. The course is free to attend and open to all families living in Telford and Wrekin and the wider Shropshire area. Please note this is an in-person course held at our Hub on Central Park, Telford.
The course will be run by trained Sleep Tight Practitioners, the sessions aim to improve your knowledge around positive sleep behaviours and equip you with strategies to improve bedtimes and lessen night wakening's.
Further courses will be available, thanks to funding from Health CCG.

An Opportunity to Advertise in PODS Annual Newsletter

Would you like the opportunity to advertise to a targeted audience?
This year for the first time we are offering the opportunity for local organisations to advertise in our annual newsletter which is sent out to over 1000 families plus schools, various organisations and providers.
Prices start from as little as £100 for half a page in full colour.

PODS - MenSpace
Tuesday 17th January 2023 at 12.30pm-2pm at PODS Hub, 1 Hawksworth Road, Central Park, Telford, TF2 9TU
A chance to put the world to rights over a butty and a brew!
Join us for the first meetings of the MenSpace group. A group dedicated to all male carers.
This group will meet regularly, but these first meetings will give me a chance to introduce myself, and you a chance to ask me any questions you may have. You will also have a chance to share your thoughts about what you want from the group.

PODS Admaston Family Group

Join us at our friendly Family group, a chance to catch up on updates, discuss services and access non-judgemental peer support with fellow parent carers.
Any family members welcome to join us and we'll supply the refreshments and treats too (donations welcome).

PODS Blists Hill Family Group
Friday 27th January 2023 from 10am-12pm at Blists Hill Victorian Town, Telford, TF7 5UD
Come and join us at PODS Family Group in Blists Hill Victorian Town for a chat, relax and meet with friendly faces. Ask us for some advice or just enjoy a walk around the village. Please note a facemask is required in some parts of the village. Tickets are available at a subsidised cost of £3.00 per person.
PODS will provide 1 tea/coffee/soft drink to each person booked, however you will have to purchase your own other refreshments if required. Places are limited and booking is essential, open to all PODS members living in Telford and Wrekin. Please note that the tickets are non-refundable.
Children, of any age, are welcome however if they are under 2 years old, no ticket is required. We will be meeting at the entrance at 10am, please let us know if you will be late or can no longer make it so as the group can enter on time.

Beam Workshops
Sharing from Shropshire Beam...
"Shropshire Beam are pleased to provide the next timetable of virtual workshops for parents & professionals starting in January which includes a workshop on understanding & responding to self-harm this has been requested by popular demand.
The details needed are below, all you need to do is click on link at the appropriate time of chosen workshops. All workshops will be done via M S Teams Video call, we are unable to record sessions. The workshops are derived to be informative and engaging sessions, please be willing to participate during the sessions. All workshops are an average duration of 1 hour. All you need to do is click on the link at the appropriate time.
There are four Workshops which will be rolled out to the end of February 2023 at various different times to enable more people to attend"
