We're really pleased that some families have shared some top tips with us so thank you already for those - we'll remember to get them written up and shared in time for later in the year for sure! In the meantime, we're busy here getting meetings booked in - those strategic meetings - particularly short breaks, and Learning Disability projects at the moment are taking centre stage, with Autism in Schools starting back up again. We have our 'Challenges at Home' Sessions running again - daytime and evening - check out the flyer for the bookings etc. Also a workshop for Social Stories workshop on 25th January: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/Parents-Opening.../t-vvmemjx and Annual Review Workshop on 27th January: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/Parents-Opening.../t-yazolyr. Today, is an important day (Monday 9th January) as we welcome Cllr Shirley Reynolds to the PODS Hub to meet families, our staff, Parent Reps, Befrienders, Volunteers and champions as we start our briefings to launch the SEND Working Together Charter. This has been developed with families and professionals over the last few years and sets out key principles that we ask partners to agree to as we strengthen our co-production journey: - Open Communication All of these are designed and written to build 'trust' and encourage more communication across all schools, settings, health and commissioned services. We will be able to share more about this co-production project over the next few months, and we'll be letting you know more soon. Best Regards Action for Happiness Calendar - Happier January 2023
