Proof of disability survey launched
A survey has been published, to gauge the opinion of disabled people on the current practices in terms of 'proof of disability' requirements when purchasing disabled fans match tickets for national and international sporting events.
The survey, funded by EPAS, Council of Europe, forms part of a research project being undertaken by the European-wide charity, Centre for Access to Football in Europe (CAFE) in association with the German Sports Institute of Cologne.
The survey is available in English, French, German, Polish, Russian and Spanish – please click on your preferred language to open the relevant version on the CAFE website. Please circulate the survey amongst your fellow fans and colleagues and please be sure to complete the survey before 17.00 (CET) by 1st October 2013.
Scope poll claims that 2012 has failed to shift attitudes to disabled people

In a recent poll by the charity Scope results found that disability abuse and hate crimes are on the increase. These forms of discrimination are unacceptable and against the law. LPF has received complaints from a number of disabled fans in the last few seasons who have experienced verbal abuse at some grounds based on their disability. To read more click here.
