LPF announce launch of new logo and website

New LPF logoLevel Playing Field is pleased to announce the launch of our new logo, which we feel better represents our work across all sports. Everytime we look at it, we see something new - we hope you enjoy trying to work out all the different things it represents!

Please can we also welcome you to our brand new website at www.levelplayingfield.org.uk. We hope you enjoy it, and we look forward to any feedback. The website includes easy to find club information pages for a range of sports. These pages now have the option to include information from the relevant club or Disabled Supporters Association. We look forward to receiving your information and postings and will be pleased to add them to these pages. You may particularly find the page on what to expect from an accessible stadium to be useful.

Following the success of our Level Playing Field Access Audit programme, we are pleased to announce a formal endorsement to clubs or venues who have undertaken one of our professional Access Audits by providing them with a "LPF Audited" certificate.

Further, we are launching a Level Playing Field "Centre of Excellence" award for clubs or venues that demonstrate the highest access standards in accommodating disabled spectators on match (or event) and non-match days.

Please watch this space for further news on the awards. For further information on the audit programme and awards please click here.

Weeks of Action campaign announced

Level Playing Field is delighted to announce that the 2013 Weeks of Action campaign will run from 6th to the 21st of April.

This is a real opportunity for clubs to highlight the positive work that they do for their disabled supporters, and we urge you to get involved. The two week period should give each club and/or organisation the opportunity to have a game or event in which they can showcase the work they are doing.

If something cannot be planned between those dates, Level Playing Field is happy for events to take place outside of the two week window. There is a lot of positive work going on around the sports world and we feel that clubs and organisations should use the weeks of action to show their fans and other clubs what they are doing.

You can find out about the campaign by clicking here. More information will follow, but in the meantime please feel free to contact us via email at info@levelplayingfield.org.uk or give us a call on 01244 893 584.

There are a number of ways that you can get in touch with us and you can be assured that if you want us to treat something in confidence, we will respect that.
