They would like to hear from anyone who has experience of and evidence on the Motability Scheme. They are keen to hear about the experience of those who may be eligible for the Motability Scheme but have not taken it up. PODS Parent Carer Forum Annual Survey 2019 *Win £100 Shopping Voucher*

We have developed this survey as an overview of the 'State of Telford' for our families who have a child with any disability or additional need (aged 0-25 years) and appreciate your comments and input. It shouldn't take longer than 15 minutes to complete and we've set it out with lots of tick options.
We have included questions regarding core health, social care, education and community and also to ask about gaps in services that families have told us about.
This will help us to feedback into services and providers and to help us understand what is important to you and your family.
*We respect your right to remain anonymous, or by giving details we will enter you into a prize draw to win a £100 voucher of your choice.
Thank you for helping us to "Make A Difference"

Forum News Update From Jayne Stevens - Participation Co-ordinator

Morning everyone :) weekly update so here goes!

We've had our first 'steering meeting' in our new office space and it was great to also welcome some of our newer team members too to meet the team. Our meetings with commissioners are continuing as we start widening discussions around short breaks, we've also started on our designated pathway around 'inclusion and acceptance' and we're looking to contact lots of local organisations to ask what support or training they might need to help them to help our families feel more supported - if you have any ideas or suggestions we would like to hear them too please. We've been invited to the SNAC @ HRPC (special needs adventure centre @ Hollinswood & Randlay Parish Council) who are also working with local groups and Little Rascals.

We've set dates for the coming year for our family groups for Admaston, Park Lane, plans for some half term and evening activities and also looking at other venues.

On Friday we went along to a conference about Autism and distressed behaviour- it was really good and I've shared some clips over on the pods chatspace group as a starting point. The learning from this will help support discussions around opportunities that need to be discussed and where we have highlighted gaps in services.

This week I'll be in the office at beginning of the week and then travelling to Rotherham to discuss the 'voices' project and onto 'leading your forum' day 2 training (must remember to find my notes from last month!).

Continued thanks to my parent reps and volunteers and trustees for attending meetings and involvement in key work areas.
