Support for the England 2018 Bid
Everyone present at the NADS AGM showed their support for the Bid by signing an England flag which was presented to Simon Johnson by 2009 NADS Fan of the Year Mark Stevens and NADS Secretary Jeanette Dodd. On receiving the flag Simon Johnson, Chief Operating Officer, England 2018 said:
“England 2018 is delighted to have the backing of NADS and its members. Joyce Cook and the NADS team have been extremely helpful in advising us of the specific needs of England’s passionate disabled supporters, with regard to stadium accessibility, transportation needs and other logistics relevant to a tournament of this nature. It is important to us that we get this right and we have taken this into account in our plans for a FIFA World Cup that everyone can enjoy. We have also worked with The FA and partners to develop exciting plans for disability football in England and around the world.”

'Have your say' - Review of Disabled Supporter Procedures at Manchester United FC
Manchester United has recently commissioned a review of its disabled supporter practices and procedures. The club has appointed Richard Whittle, Senior Lecturer in Law at Sheffield Hallam University to examine the way in which the Club allocates tickets to disabled supporters and, if any are necessary, make recommendations as to how the Club may need to change its procedures to ensure continued compliance with current and future equality legislation. The focus for this review will be whether the Club treats disabled supporters less favourably than non-disabled supporters.
Please address any of your comments to R.Whittle@shu.ac.uk and ensure that they are submitted before 30 June 2010. All responses will only be seen by Richard, and will be treated confidentially.
