Third International CAFE Conference to take place at Estadio San Mamés, Bilbao on 16-17 November

Since 2009, CAFE has worked with stakeholders across the footballing industry towards one clear aim – a game that is accessible, inclusive and welcoming to all.

CAFE’s two previous International Conferences were held at Wembley Stadium in 2011 and Stade de France in 2015. The events brought together disabled fans, clubs, leagues, national associations and football’s governing bodies, as well as stadium architects, disability and equality advocates and other key stakeholders from within the game and the disability sector.

Fans Comments - We Need Your Help

As we all prepare for the new football season Level Playing Field would like to ask for your help. Please take a few minutes after the game to tell us about your match day experience as a disabled fan.

We are looking for reports and photographs from you where clubs get things right, where they make a difference and where you notice an improvement on previous visits.

Or maybe things haven’t gone well and didn’t live up to your expectations? The clubs need to know so they can address any problems. Comments can be left anonymously if you prefer.

We will contact all the clubs and send them your comments with our congratulations and a thank you - or our offer of support and advice to address any issues you have raised. This is one way that we can all have a positive impact on facilities and services for disabled supporters.

You can leave a Fans Comment on the relevant club page (Club / Venues) or by tweeting your comments and tagging Level Playing Field @lpftweets

And it’s not just football matches we want to hear about – in recent months we’ve also received comments about rugby, cricket, boxing, horseracing and tennis – and we’re very happy to speak to the venues to offer our advice.

We look forward to hearing from you.
