FIFA.com to broadcast International Sign video reports

Video reports from all 64 matches of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ will be broadcast in International Sign language on FIFA.com. For the first time, the Official Website of FIFA and the FIFA World Cup™ is enabling deaf and people with hearing impairments across the globe to follow all 64 matches of world football’s showpiece event even more comprehensively. Audio Described commentary available for FIFA World Cup™

A successful NADS AGM

On the 26th May at Wembley Stadium National Association of Disabled Supporters (NADS), UK held their 12th Annual General Meeting. There was a high attendance of representatives from English disabled supporters groups, football clubs, CAFE team and representatives from our Belgium partner INTRO were also present. CAFE visits Poland

On May 11-13, 2010 CAFE visited Warsaw, Poland to meet Polish officials responsible for the coordination of the stadia construction and other surrounding infrastructure to make sure that disabled fans will be provided with all the necessary facilities for visiting EURO 2012. CAFE also met with Integracja, a Polish non-governmental organization that represents the interests of people affected by disability. Success at Dundee Football Club

CAFE is happy to announce the successful birth of another new Disabled Supporters Association (DSA) in Scotland. We would like to congratulate everybody involved in setting the group up. 1st International Football Friendship Festival for people with disabilities

 Football is the number 1 sport in the world – for disabled people as well as non-disabled people. Football fulfils an important function in a society: It unites people, brings down barriers and shows to the public that handicapped athletes play football with talent and enthusiasm; they are no different from anybody else. Therefore Gran Canaria is looking forward to the 1st International Football Friendship Tournament from November 22nd to 26th, 2010. To download application click here [+]

Dundee United Disabled Fans complete a successful Hat Trick!

On the 28th April a new Dundee United based disabled supporters association was successfully formed. A good turn out saw nine fans come forward as committee members with interim office bearers identified to get things started. The group, probably to be known as the Association of Dundee United Disabled Supporters. [+]

We are happy to announce that we have an ever growing team of excellent volunteers who do outstanding work for CAFE. If it was not for their generosity CAFE would not be able to run as efficiently and effectively as we always aim to be. Therefore we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our volunteers for their hard work and commitment.
