Owain Davies has been appointed as Chief Executive of Level Playing Field with effect from 1st January 2018

LPF Chair, Tony Taylor, said: “The Trustees of Level Playing Field are delighted to announce the appointment of Owain Davies as our new Chief Executive.  We had an extremely strong shortlist of candidates to consider which reflects the regard in which our organisation is held.  We have seen his performance at first hand and he brings a wealth of experience to LPF.  Owain's commitment to our guiding principles and objectives, combined with a determination to drive the organisation forward were key factors in his appointment.  We are really excited about the future and look forward to working with Owain."

Development Officer Vancancy

Level Playing Field (LPF) is seeking to appoint a full time Development Officer to join the Access and Development Team.

This dedicated role will include the delivery and development of LPF’s accredited disability equality training, helping with day to day enquiries from sports clubs and disabled fans and supporting the LPF Access Auditors and Projects Officer.  The successful candidate will report to the General Manager and will work closely with the wider LPF team.

This year's Weeks of Action theme is #OurMatchday, about the positive experiences that disabled people have when attending football matches. 


Derby County will host first Midlands Regional Forum on Tuesday 13th February 2018.

The forum will be taking place at Derby’s Pride Park Stadium from 1pm - 4pm on Tuesday 13th February 2018. It is being organised by Level Playing Field (LPF) with support from Derby County FC and Derby County DSA.

Burnley Football Club have committed to improving facilities for disabled supporters at Turf Moor by August 2018

Having recently joined the ranks of the Premier League, Burnley are hoping to start work on the improvements in January 2018.

Yeovil Town grieve the passing of Bruce James

A few days before Christmas, Bruce was admitted to hospital, as his idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis condition worsened, causing him to struggle with his breathing. He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit on Friday night (December 22) and had a massive relapse the following morning (December 23).
