Level Playing Field 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Level Playing Field (LPF) held its AGM on Wednesday 23rd August 2017 at Brent Civic Centre.

Working Together: How Paul Olander and Newport County were reunited

Level Playing Field were delighted to learn that the success of Newport County AFC DSA has been recognised by the English Football League (EFL).

How Paul Olander and Newport County were reunited

One Club, One County. That's the motto of Newport County, and it's one which sums up exactly what the club are trying to achieve, both on and off the pitch.

The club retained their EFL status in the most dramatic of fashions last season – more on that later – and, along with strengthening their position in Sky Bet League Two, the South Wales club are committed to doing great work to help their fans and the local area.

Level Playing Field (LPF) has delivered its Disability Inclusion and Etiquette Training (DIET) to record numbers in 2017!

Since the turn of the year LPF has delivered training to over 440 delegates! During this process we have worked with some of England and Wales finest sports teams and organisations. The DIET delivery to date has worked with over 50 sporting teams, organisations and venues across 4 sports (Football, Rugby Union, Cricket and Horse Racing).

Wembley Stadium unveils plaque in honour of Gary Deards

A ceremony was held at Wembley Stadium this week to unveil a plaque in honour of Gary Deards.

Gary was the former Vice-Chair of Level Playing Field as well as long-term advisor and friend to our sister organisation CAFE, who work to improve access and inclusion throughout Europe using the unique power of football.

Disability Inclusion & Etiquette Training (DIET)

Disability Inclusion and Etiquette Training (D.I.E.T) is a bespoke and competitively priced training package. Accredited through ‘CPD’ the training looks to upskill customer facing staff at sports stadiums/venues and organisations that provide services for disabled sports fans. Find out more here.
