Welcome to the first CAFE News of 2010!

The New Year has started and CAFE is now in full speed with news of projects and lots of developments for disabled supporters around Europe.

We were in Vienna just before Christmas and have joined the FARE network. We now have a UK and Eire Development Officer. We are enlarging our contacts in Europe every day, recruiting a Western Europe Development Officer and now also looking for a Development Officer to work in Eastern Europe ahead of EURO 2012.

Blog launched: Boyan’s inspiring love for football

Our new blog is now up and running and the story of Boyan is our opening act. Boyan is 13 year old Dutch boy who loves football. New UK & Eire Development Officer

We are very happy to welcome Keith Fergusson in our team as the new UK & Eire Development Officer. Keith will be working in a part-time basis and his aim is to develop the disabled football supporter’s movement in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Read more...

F_in workshop in Hamburg

The fifth workshop of the network F_in “Women in football” in Hamburg – under the heading of “Cooking and Violence” – was a great success. Nearly 30 participants from Germany, Austria and Sweden came together between 8 and 10 January to swap stories and experiences and discuss the topic of 'violence' with regard to repression and discrimination.
