NADS Access Audit Programme
NADS is pleased to announce a new access audit programme for Clubs following discussions with a respected Access Consultancy (National Register of Access Consultants (NRAC) registered) and the football authorities.
The Access Consultant is an experienced auditor with a detailed pan-disability understanding of access to football stadia. We have successfully negotiated an excellent service at a very competitive fee for Clubs and sports stadia that includes an independent full 3 day audit, including a match day audit, disability awareness and DDA training and ongoing access advice and support.
The NADS Access Audit programme is of course not mandatory for Clubs but we do believe that it will help them considerably in being able to confidently use an excellent service. Clubs may chose to employ another Access Consultant, who should be NRAC registered and familiar with the Accessible Stadia and in particular access to sports stadia. An access audit will help Clubs to meet their legal obligations and mitigate any potential risks. It makes real business sense for Clubs to be proactive rather than reactive in this regard.
The NADS Audit programme will also be helpful for clubs working to the Kick it Out Equality Standards.
